Terralgea

About Terralgea

The people behind
the capsule.

Terralgea is a Norwegian company building a Nordic algae platform. One product, one species, full traceability.

Terralgea was founded in 2024 in Lillehammer. The starting point was simple: the supplement industry is full of big words, while the documentation usually stops at the label. We wanted to build the opposite. One product with one ingredient, where every batch can be documented all the way from sea to capsule.

Pure Ulva is sea lettuce (Ulva fenestrata), cultivated in cold water on Sweden's west coast and analysed batch by batch at Eurofins. We sell directly to Norwegian customers and through selected partners internationally.

Alongside it we are building Terralgea Restore, our marine restoration project. The ambition is a business that gives the sea more back than it takes. That ambition takes time to live up to, and that is exactly the point.

The raw material is cultivated by Nordic SeaFarm on Sweden's west coast. The capsules are produced at Nutrakap in the UK under GMP and HACCP certification, and every batch is analysed at Eurofins. The raw material has been studied by the research community at Chalmers University of Technology.
