A green seaweed, not kelp
Sea lettuce (Ulva) is a green seaweed with thin, light-green fronds that grow along coastlines across much of the world. The frond is just two cells thick, yet it's among the fastest-growing seaweeds there are. People have eaten it for thousands of years, from the Nordics to East Asia. And it isn't kelp: brown seaweeds like kelp can hold so much iodine that it becomes too much. Sea lettuce sits far lower, and the daily dose in Pure Ulva stays well below the upper limit EFSA has set for adults.
