Privacy policy
Last updated 10 June 2026
This policy describes how Terralgea AS processes personal data on terralgea.com, and the rights you have. This translation is provided for convenience; the Norwegian version prevails if they differ.
1. Controller
Terralgea AS, Storgata 89, 2615 Lillehammer, Norway. Org. no. 930 317 705. Email: contact@terralgea.com.
2. What we process, and why
Purchases: when you buy in the web shop, we process your name, address, email, phone number and order details to deliver your order. The legal basis is the contract with you. Purchase records are kept as long as Norwegian bookkeeping law requires.
Enquiries: when you contact us by email, we process the information you provide in order to answer you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling enquiries.
Newsletter: if you sign up for our newsletter, we process your email address based on your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
Analytics: we use Plausible, a privacy-friendly tool without cookies, for visitor statistics. The statistics are aggregated and cannot be tied to you.
3. Cookies and local storage
The site sets no tracking cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner. The shopping cart uses necessary local storage in your browser to function. The checkout itself runs at Shopify and uses cookies that are necessary to complete the purchase.
4. Processors and third parties
We use data processors to run the site and the web shop: Shopify (checkout and order handling), Vercel (hosting), Plausible (visitor statistics) and, once the newsletter launches, Klaviyo (newsletter delivery). We enter into data processing agreements with our suppliers, and transfers outside the EEA rely on a valid transfer mechanism such as the EU's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We never sell personal data.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and to object to certain processing. Contact us at contact@terralgea.com to exercise your rights. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
6. Changes
We update this policy when needed. Significant changes are announced on this page.
